Here’s a gallery of early ETR Rally patches, side-by-side. We believe ETR 1983 was the first to create a custom patch, while ETR 1995 was the last. ETR 1987 was the first to introduce a polo shirt. ETR 199x was the first to feature a jersey. Years subsequent to 1995 are the logos off shirts or jerseys.

 ETR 1986 Penn Yan NY The 1986 Penn Yan and 1995 Geneva patches were both designed by Herm Auch, and share a thematic design similarity. Herm was a graphics artist and reporter for Rochester’s Democrat and Chronicle newspaper. In 1975 Herm and Dick Dougherty rode across America, sending columns home as they went.
